30% Cash Back Every Week- Citibank credit card



1. Registration:
i.  To participate in the Campaign, an Eligible Person is required to register with Citibank via one of the following methods:
a) short  messaging service text (“SMS”) to Citibank in accordance with the instructions as set out in Citibank's promotional materials: “ WEEKLY1(space)16-digit credit card number”  to 66399
- An Eligible Person who receives from Citibank an SMS confirmation on his/her mobile phone from which the registration SMS was sent;

or

b) register online at “www.citibank.com.my/weekly” (“Campaign Website”);
- a confirmation message shown on the Campaign Website, from Citibank confirming that the registration is successful.

ii. An Eligible Person with multiple Citibank Cards is only required to register any one of his/her Citibank Card to participate in this Campaign. All other Citibank Cards shall be automatically tracked for purposes of tabulation of the Qualifying Transactions (as defined below) for this Campaign.


To participate in the Campaign, a Participant  needs to  complete,  after Registration,  one transaction on each Qualifying Category with his/her Citibank Cards (regardless of sequence and inclusive of supplementary cards transactions) (“Qualifying Transactions”) within ONE Weekly Cycle (as defined below) with the following requirements:
i. A minimum of RM100 in a single transaction on Groceries;
ii. A minimum of RM100 in a single transaction on Dining; AND
iii. A minimum of RM100 in a single transaction on any Retail Purchase.

  • A Weekly Cap of RM125,000 is allocated from every Saturday to the following Friday with a maximum of RM100 cash back entitlement per week per principal cardmember on a first-come, first-served basis.
  •  In each Weekly Cycle, 30% Cash Back will be given out to Successful Participants.
  • Duration: 13 Oct 2012 - 7 Dec 2012
  • Applicable to all Citibank Credit Cards.
  • "Groceries" transactions must be made at Giant, Cold Storage, Mercato, Jasons Food Hall, Aeon, Tesco, Carrefour, Mydin, Econsave, The Store/Pacific, Village Grocer, Jaya Grocer, Billion, NSK, Servay, 99 Speedmart and Everrise, in Malaysia. 
  • "Dining" includes transactions made at merchants categorized under "Dining" or "Food & Beverages" as per selected Merchant Category Codes (MCC). 
  • "Anything" means any qualifying retail transactions  except the following:
i)  those used to qualify under the above  Qualifying  Categories of  "Groceries" and "Dining";

ii) installments paid under Citibank's Flexi Payment Plan or Easy Payment Plan (as defined in Citibank's Website);

iii) payments made by standing instructions or auto-billing;

iv) Qualifying Transactions which are subsequently cancelled or refunded;

v) cash advance or cash withdrawal debited to the account of the Citibank Card;

vi) Dial-For-Cash (DFC) or Balance Conversion (as defined in Citibank's Website);

vii) government service tax and any other similar taxes;

viii) disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent purchase transactions;

ix) payment of annual Citibank Credit Card membership fees,

x) interest & principal payments;

xi)  late payment fees, charges for cash withdrawals and any other form of service/miscellaneous fees; and

xii) transactions made by Participants with any merchant associated with or controlled by them (whether as business owner, shareholder or director)
