ReplyDeleteThis type of message always inspiring and I prefer to read quality content, so happy to find good place to many here in the post, the writing is just great, thanks for the post. Sea Water Fish
DeleteIn your opinion.. which fish shop is the best spot and have many fish choices in saltwater fish?
ReplyDeleteIf you buy many, AQUATICS INTERNATIONAL better, remember to bargain.
DeleteIf you wan more stable fish, Oceanic Aquarium is recommended, but price is a bit higher but still reasonable. I tried bought fish there n put in tank without quarantine (p/s: this is very risky, so don't do that :p)
If you lazy to go "shopping", then you can get latest update from https://www.facebook.com/btkarang.
Depend on what you wan buy and where you stay.
DeleteIf you want to buy supplement, another shop recommended.
I wanna get an aquarium which shop should i go?
ReplyDeleteaquarium mean tank??
DeleteHi, i want to buy a full set tank. About 2 feet. Any good shop to recommend? Looking a reliable, full of knowledge and willing to teach me from A-Z shop. Did visit Ocean Aquarium. So far not bad but feel costly for full set quote.
ReplyDeleteSorry for late reply, u bought already? Actually no shop owner will teach u from A-Z, u better do the research 1st
DeleteFish Depot lady is very slow lah. Everything we ask (my husband or I) ask before buying also same. My friend who bought Eheim filter from them contacted her for help on facebook messaging. She never bother to reply even by sms to their 017 line. Yet they advertised as excellent service! Only the Malay boys working there are very helpful but her!
ReplyDeleteI think depend on her mood, since i heard someone complained about this too. But she is quite nice when I go. And, somebody replied me when I messaged on facebook about cooler warranty. So I am quite lucky, I think.
DeleteThe Malay boy really nice and patient to explain.
Fish Depot not so good like before! Marines sucks. Do not bother with them online as reply sucks. Jonathan
ReplyDeleteNatural Aquatic World at 17, SS19/6, Subang Jaya, 47500 Selangor has got the useless lady owner-cashier in PJ area. Talking to her in Chinese makes no difference.
ReplyDeleteI like fish depot at Sunwaymas. Saltwater got only 3 small tanks.....lol........maybe u guys seen the lady owner when she have her period......
ReplyDeletehi you recomended malaya reef (matahari@selatan) .
ReplyDeletei go there last month la. many tanks empty! so i try again on saturday (20June) look like oldstock or not many again. are they closing?
is najib punya gst slowly killing business?
Malaya Reef Aquatic (Matahari Park) is very expensive la.
ReplyDeleteJean Hwa
im looking for a partition tank as a divider with all the marine tank accessories.whr to get?
ReplyDeleteHi I am Weiwei. I have been in the business for many years now. Below are some of my recommendations.
ReplyDelete(1) Tanks and furniture accessories are available at Aquascape Paradise (03-5510 7675) and Fish Depot (03-7886 7012) at good prices.
(2) For marine, Aquarium Batu Karang (03-5633 1743) is one of the best.
(3) Avoid Malaya Reef Aquatic as their prices including their advertised fb promotion are faked or items expired.
Hi. May i know where is the best place that i can a good choice of clean up crew? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery good information you guys have here. Yes I agree Batu Karang Laut is the best in coral aquarium business. If you got a capable car to handle the bad roads to Aquatics International, go for it. They have many range of fish including reef snails and invertebrates.
ReplyDeleteBoon Soon
If you shopping for marine fish and corals, don't got to AQUATICS INTERNATIONAL SDN. BHD, 260A Jalan Satu A, Kampong Baru Subang. Prices are not displayed at all. A lot of things dying. White spot disease prevalent in spade! Mr Lee
ReplyDeleteHi. I am thinking to setup a 6ft marine reef tank. Instead of going to to lfs would it be cheaper if i hire a servicemen directly without going to the shop? For you experience do u have anyone to recommend ?
ReplyDeleteAquatics international is no more already.
ReplyDeleteAkuarium Batu Klang Laut may be a lot of variety to choose, but owner seem to be too lansi to open gold mouth to advices. Wasted my time to pay this shop a visit.
ReplyDeleteAiyoo whoever said Oceanic Aquatic Sdn Bhd Jalan Puchong is good must be a newbie. Oceanic is so expensive.
ReplyDeleteNever buy any corals from there. Coral parasites waiting inside their tank. Their big display tank suffered many coral casualties in February. Luckily they got help from the bangla worker to hide and thrown them fast so weekend customers will not notice it.
Most of the good Bangla workers at Ovenic's no more. Things looking dull now.
ReplyDeletedear reef, i'm chong chefincook.
ReplyDeleteI hereby to declare user above "chefcook" is not me , not represent me or related to me.
Thanks.
Any idea which reef shop now got yellow head jawfish
ReplyDeleteWhatYouSea sells coral frags on the internet for people with saltwater aquariums. A coral frag is a small piece of live coral that a person can add to their tank, and grow out. The niche should be blogs related to saltwater aquariums, and coral propagation and sales. Let me know if you need more information.
ReplyDeleteif you want more just look here "Live coral"
